Description
Published cover art for Hal Jordan & The Green Lantern Corps #8 (2016), penciled and inked by Ethan Van Sciver.

This striking cover showcases John Stewart and Soranik Natu in commanding poses, with the Green Lantern Corps surging behind them in classic EVS hyper-detailed fashion. Part of the “Bottled Light” arc, this piece comes from Van Sciver’s celebrated Rebirth-era run, widely considered the definitive modern visual era for the Corps.

What makes this cover special is the sheer scale and precision EVS brings to the page — hundreds of lanterns rendered in tight formation, a powerful perspective, and iconic poses that capture both leadership and defiance. It’s a perfect example of why EVS’s Green Lantern work remains so sought after.

Characters featured: John Stewart, Soranik Natu, Green Lantern Corps

The guy is super hard to work with.  How can any inker hope to ink everything he puts down and meet a deadline?

More rings in that picture than a jewelry store. Sciver was an artist worthy of the Lanternhood. The poses look regal, leaders supported by a multitude of warriors.

Great cover pic!
