The Avenger – Kyle Baker

I am a bit fuzzy in my recollection of this piece but I think I obtained it from Malcom Bourne – psychiatrist for children, comics writer, former unpaid-volunteer at UKCAC, esteemed and well-connected British CAF member, interviewee of Comic Art LIVE episode 52, connoisseur of original comic art, and personal friend of Kyle Baker (see the photo uploaded in July of this year in his CAF gallery in which Malcolm poses for a photo with Kyle Baker and Scott Morse).

I also have a vague memory that this image was used in an advert for the comic in a black and white, stapled, advance-solicitations publication which came out in 1989. I am especially grateful to Malcolm for providing this drawing because there is no dramatic killer image in the comic itself for the Avenger. Thank you, Malcolm!
