Great Red Dragon & Ted Sketch card by Jeff Smith from the CBLDF Liberty set

A very nice sketch card collector found me here on CAF and wanted to buy my Smiley sketch card. I politely told him it wasn’t for sale but asked what he had in his collection, since he mentioned being a sketch card collector. Over the course of our conversation, he proceeded to show me three different Bone sketches by Jeff for the CBLDF Liberty set: Fone Bone, Phoney Bone, and the Red Dragon. He was very interested in completing a collection of the three Bone cousins which I happily obliged in exchange for one of my favorite characters. Hopefully, one day, he’ll show us his massive sketch card collection on CAF as it goes far beyond the CBLDF set.

This is a pack-pulled sketch card from the 2011 CBLDF Liberty trading card set drawn by the great Jeff Smith. It’s a pretty typical Red Dragon that’s reminiscent of how he sketches this character at conventions. I really like the artist sig which is what ultimately compelled me to make the trade.
