Description

This is a special get for me. Locke and Key was kind of my first foray into non-superhero comics and to this day I'm amazed by how tightly plotted and perfectly paced it is. Gabriel Rodriguez puts on a masterpiece of visual storytelling with extremely detailed artwork that packs so much into each page beyond the words.

I've lurked enough collector forums to know how rare these are currently, so I'm extremely happy to own a piece, one that even figures heavily into the ending (though to be fair, it's truly so tightly written that most of the pages probably do).

Not many leave the vault as they are under ... lock and key. This has a dive bomber feel with the aerial maneuvers!
