Yellow Daredevil by Alex Maleev

I saw Alex post this on Insta and I was instantly enamored. I've always dreamt of a Maleev in my collection. This headshot/mugshot piece is terrific. I love the ketchup and mustard costume choice. I'd love to hear your experience working with Alex. A true maestro of DD. Great addition to your collection.

I have been engaging with Alex about these mugshot pieces since shortly after his original ones were posted earlier this year. I thought they were really cool. I almost bought the 4 he used in the cover, but I couldn't pull the trigger. After I reached out again about a piece from that series, he told me he was going to be making two Yellow DDs. When they were both done, he let me choose which one I wanted. He is very patient and flexible to work with. Maybe one day I'll own a cover of his!

Nice mugshot!  I guess early on, DD wanted street cred and went in voluntarily to get this publicity shot.
