Curt Swan will always be one of the great founding fathers of comic books. This Green Lantern time-travel story (think "It's A Wonderful Life") "Where There Is A Will..." , illustrated by the unusual pairing of Curt Swan and Ty Templeton, has a real warmth and clarity. Ink over graphite on Bristol board 10" x 15", signed by Swan in panel 4.

Although not named, several characters are based on real people including Terry Waite (the hostage negotiator), Desmond Tutu (the priest) and Lech Walesa (the First Officer). If you're of a certain age, these names were in news headlines around the world for social activism in their respective spheres of influence.
