JRJR and AW pulling off an awesome page of action that almost feels like it's happening in slow motion. I also love the three-sound-effect-combo to end the sequence: Vok! Skeeee! Crack! Pkow!
Can't include Thoomp!, because there is dialog in between. It almost fits...

Amazing action-filled panel art by this great art team featuring an cool new adversary ("Shotgun") for DD, the JrJr run with writer Ann Nocenti was amog the best of all DD stuff in the late 1980s !
Williamson was the perfect inker for Romita Jr. Each panel is exquisitely done.
