Description
When I showed my friend ML this cover I was getting … he had the best quote possible… “all the nostalgia with none of the price tag!” And I couldn’t have said it better… a comic that was made to tap into our nostalgia for Uncanny X-men 268.. one of the most memorable Jim Lee X-men issues he created .. Cap Wolverine and Black Widow on a couple different adventures! Well marvel dusted off Chris Claremont and put together this mini series with the same cast and setting and even though they weren’t getting Mr Lee to do the covers.. Phillip Tan did a nice job getting that same look.. and this one in particular takes that current “Movie Poster Cover” to whole nother level! (See published image) . I love the composition - wolverine towering over Madripoor skyline , cap facing the opposite way but still looming large and a stunning Widow in all her spy glory! He even manages to get all the Madripoor players involved from the Patch days of the wolverine series even more nostalgia!! Man I’d go see this movie if it happened! Lol

Thanks Migs for a lovely deal!

Correct!  It's a fantastic cover and definitely a movie I'd go see.  Phillip Tan has reallly knocked this one for six (English sporting reference rather than American 😛)

The movie poster vibes are strong with this one for sure, killer cover piece by Tan! If they never make the movie, at least make the poster! ;) - congrats!

Digging the movie poster kinda layout here, paired with that scratchy Tan line work.  Congrats!
