Delighted to add this wonderful Kelly Freas painting to the collection! I've always considered Kelly to be one of the best artists to work in the field of science fiction illustration. I always speak of him along side other greats such as Frank R. Paul, Virgil Finlay, Hannes Bok, Ed Emshwiller... You get the idea! This cover art was done for the novelette "Slaves of the Tree" by Eric Rodman and published in Super-Science Fiction - June 1958. Signed lower left.
