Description
5-2025...Manapul at his finest! As I always say, his work on the Flash really got me into modern comics and this is one of my all time favorite Flash covers of his, the first being his Flash Annual #1 cover which I also feel very lucky to have.

At the time DC Comics was running its titles with these dramatic blank covers to set up the Flashpoint story arc. I remember seeing a copy in a Borders (remember them?!) in Boston and buying the book...I can't believe that was 15 years ago! A couple years back I sent in my copy for CGC Signature Series for Geoff Johns to sign and am delighted that it is apparently the highest graded version of the comic despite its age - despite a few moves I guess I did something right taking care of it! Now I just have to eventually meet Francis! Can we get him to a future OAX???

A big thank you to E Samu-el (from whom I've bought a few other OA pieces in the past) for selling me this cover. I cherish it greatly.

Manapaul's Flash during the New 52 was definitely one of the best looking books on the stands at the time.

Manapul brought back the pure clean streamlined look to make Flash look faster!

Great Flash cover! such a clean look. I love to see cover art paired with signed comic books/slabs of the same cover artwork too - nice job and congrats!

Thanks Kavi! I was debating whether to have the main image as just the art itself, but I thought pairing it with the cover made sense here since the art may just seem like it was a commission. Always try to keep a copy of the book where the art was published just because it seems amazing that the art was in the artist's hands then got published for the world!

Both modern and classic at the same time. Manapul's title DPSs on The Flash were always breathtaking.
