Steve McNiven full body sketch of Silver Surfer on board

F5 - This is a special one. In 2004, Steve McNiven drew this wonderful rendition of the Silver Surfer for me. I left it with him at a convention in Toronto and then he mailed it back to me in Moncton. I am so grateful that he did this for me as a prize that I won for supervising one of his father’s students in Nova Scotia. This is the fifth Surfer sketch in the front part of my Silver Surfer sketchbook as I pursue my 60th anniversary countdown. It was a brilliant foreshadowing of the Surfer tale he would prouve 15 years later in Marvel #1000.
