Description

The second volume of Wicked: The Graphic Novel is scheduled for release on 16 June 2026, but the art is complete, so here is a peek at some of the images in advance of the book.

This is an illustration that will be in the book showing part of the castle interior. As he did with Volume 1, to speed the process, Scott created "backgrounds" that he could use multiple times... as animators used to do when making a cartoon. Using PhotoShop, Scott moves the figure along the background to provide depth to the panel. This image has no figures, but is used multiple times in the book.

The original is rendered in mixed media over pencil on a piece of 13 x 9" 2-ply Bristol art board and is signed.
