Description
“When its citizens suddenly vanish, a small town becomes ‘Death-Hive, U.S.A.!’”

Jack’s Insecton warriors were the perfect blend of creepy crawly invaders, 50’s movie fare fun, and that distinctive Kirby design where he would make each creature unique yet completely part of a whole. And their Lightning Lady Queen, another bold design with equal parts attraction and revulsion, but I like her! Coupled with concepts galore, you were almost assaulted by mind-bending concepts coming at you right and left in a Kirby Sci-Fi mag, and Captain Victory didn’t disappoint! From somewhere high above, Captain Victory orders the Dreadnaught “Tiger” to surround the Hive with a “Negative Barrier”—Engage!
Captain Victory’s here, and so is the Age of Disclosure…

Art published in 1982 - 11x17.

Nice page from on of the very last comic projects by the King. The middle panel is simply amazing, I love his insectoid alien monster villains from this series (look up mine for more of these :) ! Nice addition to your strong collection !

This is still great Kirby going into the early 80's as it looks like his Fourth World work with Royer inking!

I always wondered why my book Captain Failure wasn't a success.  I should have followed in the steps of the King!

I was first in line the day Captain Victory hit the stands.  I couldn't wait to get my mitts on the newest Kirby creation, and I wasn't disappointed.

Congratulations an all your beautiful Kirby pages, but the Captain Victory are particularly special.

Congrats on a terrific pick up! I wanted to chase this page but it wasn't my time. Nice to see it in your collection. Panel two slaps.

Classic Kirby / Royer stuff! As good as it gets. Their art has an unique flair.

The King! Those Insecton warriors are fabulous, and hark back to his Fourth World creations. A really nice late Kirby page.
