Description
1st appearance in comics of our favorite FBI detectives.
Drawn by Charlie Adlard (Walking Dead fame) back in Jan 1995....15 months after the show debuted in Sep 1993.

X-files is one of my all time favorite shows.
One of the pioneers in ground breaking stories shown on "public" television.

There were so many episodes where I couldn't believe what I just saw....
But, as Fox would say, "I want to believe".

And, yes, the truth is out there......

Ther comic was also a surprise hit with many people skipping it initially because of the track record of the Topps brand.  Pretty special as Adlard was from the UK and didn't make many con appearances early on to sell art.

I believe the truth is out there! Really cool 1st appearances from an adaptation comic series. X-Files is one of the greatest network TV shows of all-time (and particularly within the sci-fi/UFO/monster/unexplained phenomenon sub-genre). It had a huge influence on me when it was first airing and I've rewatched the entire series several times since it concluded through DVD etc. Awesome addition, congrats Jordan!

Incredibly cool page with some really fun history of these characters in in their comic premiere.  Cheers!

So cool! I don't exactly go looking for X-Files art so that may explain it, but I still think it's kind of odd that this may be the very first page I've ever seen from the first issue. Congrats, Jordan! Some day I need to go back and watch all the episodes from the "freak of the week" era.
