Audrey Hepburn - John Amor - Sketch Card

Here begins a long road of posting sketch cards from Comic Art Live 2025. I purchased each card with someone in mind to represent the people I have met throughout my collecting journey. Most of the characters reflect what those collectors usually pursue, or in some cases a character I simply wanted to see interpreted through their collections. This piece is the exception. There was a collector who owned an Audrey Hepburn, but I chose a different character for them. This card became the one that represents me, since I had always hoped to commission an Audrey Hepburn.

John Amor delivered something truly remarkable. The moment I saw this card it completely stunned me. The likeness is striking, capturing Hepburn’s elegance with an accuracy that feels almost effortless. The crosshatching is masterful, layered with such precision and control that it elevates the entire composition. Every line shows intention, confidence, and a deep understanding of form and light. It is a small piece with an enormous presence, and a perfect example of John’s artistic excellence.
