Description
Sin City: Hell and Back, issue 5 page 20, 1999

When I saw this page, I thought cool Mercedes! Miller's Sin City cars are so distinctive, so I was intrigued and I love landscape panels! Then I noted it had a Sin City Lady, Delia, so it fits well in this theme gallery...and finally decided I was cool with the sexual content.

And while not inexpensive, Sin City art is relatively affordable compared to other Frank Miller art - even H&B pages will be 20 years old in a blink of an eye!

I like the cyclone fence behind the car in the first panel.  Pulling back, you can see the pattern gives the car more forward momentum as the chase scene gets more intense!

I really love that first panel, but the whole page is quite nice with plenty of contrast.  A great action sequence between the cars as Delia and Wallace have their own back and forth. Congrats on a great page!

Yeah, love that fencing in the top panel.  Not sure I've ever seen cross hatching done with negative space before.  As far as H&B goes, while most people recognize that the earlier SC yarns were stronger, all of Miller's trademark visual devices are still evident here.  My only Miller splash is from H&B and I couldn't be more thrilled with it.  Congrats on this killer Miller.
