Iron Man by Nick Bradshaw

Nick Bradshaw can do no wrong. Full stop. Every character he touches looks brilliant. And he has touched a lot at this point. As a fellow canuck, I feel a swell of pride everytime I see him knock another piece out of the park. In the fullness of time, I suspect he'll be viewed as one of this generations all time greats - like a modern day Art Adams.

Nick has been good enough to make the pilgrimage out west for Expos for a number of years now. I finally bit the bullet last year and booked a commission. Man am I ever kicking myself for not doing it sooner! I mean, just LOOK at what he produced!

The prompt was simple - a mecha Iron Man (Iron Mecha?) - and this was the result.

I'm not that knowledgeable on techniques or able to dissect what makes a piece sing. But Nick's level of skill is abundantly evident here. There's a ton of detail in the piece but all of it is readable, not getting lost or confusing. Believe a more artistically inclined friend described him as having a strong handle on values (?) which sounded cool so I'm repeating it here.
