Leonard Kirk sketch of Galactus and Nova

B14 - Leonard Kirk packed so much into this amazing sketch of Galactus and his herald Nova, also at one time the Silver Surfer’s lover. I was very fortunate to have Leonard draw this for me at a convention in Toronto in 2004. One of the things that stands out for me is how detailed the sketch is and how faithful it is to the characters as they were portrayed in the first issue of the third volume of the Silver Surfer series by Englehart and Rogers, an issue that I gave to Leonard as a reference for the sketch. This is the 14th sketch in the back section of my Silver Surfer sketchbook where I have Norrin Radd’s allies and enemies, as I near the end of my countdown for the Silver Surfer’s 60th anniversary.
