It also has a Mighty Comics and Dell '60s superhero feel. It is very interesting. Nice treat drop as well. I've had worse 'treats' dropped on me by birds. I love the way the logo appears only where we first see Birdman - very cinematic/cartoon in style.
What's a Bird Lair without birds. Avenger's a good Eagley! Birdman must have a pretty strong wrist joint to hold that position. Awesome stylized lettering on Birdman in that last panel too - cool Rude page!
The Dude abides.
Now that's just plain Rude!!!
Neat-o-completo!

I love the style on this piece - the Dude Abides!
Steve Rude inked himself on this project? Interesting! Though I think I still prefer the superslick "oil spill" look of Gary Martin's inks over Rude, I like the slightly looser, more organic ink line here. And how cool is it that yout got a page with a giant, hand drawn logo of the titular character?
Avenger is a good sidekick/partner making sure his buddy starts off his day in the lair with a cup of coffee and a special treat. I love the title logo and the scene in that bottom panel.
Ooh-ooh-ooh...
Baby
Ooh-ooh-ooh...
Listen
I'm in heaven
Listen
Pay attention, are you listening
You're my favorite bird
Excuse me for the comment
I'm in Avenger's world
On a mountain by a fountain
Powers booming in the lair
With blueprints and unsuited
Toth picture's very clear
Hang the sign up on the door
I say don't disturb Steve Rude
(All I need is just me and you)
Just a way to tell you
That I'm so into Rude
(Just so that I'm understood)
And the feeling's so real
(Don't you)
Don't disturb Steve Rude
Steve Rude is an exceptional artist! Very beautiful page!!
Love the art, even if Adult Swim has permanently distorted my view of Birdman,
