Some backstory on that collaboration piece:

In 2023 we were in Australia for two back-to-back conventions Sydney and Perth. We were there with John Sommariva, Kevin Eastman, David Yardin, etc. a really fun trip.

When we travel with the Australians (Jon & David), we usually hang out in each other’s hotel rooms, drawing and just hanging out- sometimes we do collaboration pieces, so while Jon was doing the pencils for this Leonardo

I was penciling for the Raphael piece, which I thought of “What if Rafael was the last Ronin.” Where he was the last of the brothers to survive

After he was done penciling Leonardo. We swapped pieces for him to Ink the Raphael, for me to Ink his Leonardo.
