A huge thanks to the Great Mike DeCarlo for taking a (second) walk back to the 80s with a fan, and recreating this Dark Noir from Batman #429 - A Death in the Family

Mike was also kind enough to do the page with a special twist, that I think worked out very well / And which to me made this extra special.

I also see this is my first post here on caf in six years, so a “Hello” to old friends, it feels good to be back in this special community.

So awesome! The noir feel is there by DeCarlo with everyone shroulded in darkness and defining those Aparo facial features.

Love the Dark Noir look to this page. The deep black backgrounds and intense shadows really conjure up the feeling of those old crime films of the '30s and '40s. Love the way both Batman's and Superman's faces are hidden in shadow. Stunnning work by Mike DeCarlo recreating the page. Great commission, congrats!
