Description
Jean Grey and Beast down at the boathouse of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, bringing the reader up to speed on the latest happenings of the team. Early fine pencils by Terry Dodson with expert finishes by Matt Ryan.

This issue was a fun downtime chapter for the X-Men, leading into Legion Quest and then the AoA. Several intersecting storylines in this issue, with Phillip Summers, grandfather of Cyclops reflecting on his WWII flying days, Adam X coming to the rescuing of Phillip, the newlywed life of Scott and Jean, Legion and visions from Destiny, setting the stage for “Legion’s Quest”, and Erik the Red II and Mister Sinister spying on Scott and Jean.

Very happy to pick up another page to one of the first X-Men books I read back in the day.

Such a great story page with lots of things to recall and remember from this era.  So many things going on.  Cheers to this beautiful find.

So cool!  These issues saw no drop off in quality as X-Men was one of the flagship titles in all of comics at the time!
