Description
“Frip, Frip, Frip, Frip”

I could vividly hear this page back in the 90’s, bought to life through Andy Kubert’s pencils and the classic text paste-ups. Give me a “Snikt” or a “Bamf” any day of the week but a “Frip” is pretty sweet too when it comes to the Age of Apocalypse.

Quicksilver faces off with Abyss, horseman to Apocalypse. Just another great scene from the dystopian continuity which showed how much darker the AoA was compared to the regular 616.

There was plenty of epic character designs in the AoA. Abyss was one of my top three villains from the event. Very happy to add this one to my collection and my first original art by Andy Kubert!

One of the greatest X-Men events ever!  Reimagined from the ground up while pushing further everything that was cool in the characters!  This was when they switched to glossy paper as well making these deep ink very sleek!

Kinetic, top to bottom!  Kubert really brought some legit energy to this arc - great example.  Congrats!
