Description
#OAX2026

OAX...where art dreams comes true! I was able to do a trade for this cover and it absolutely made the weekend for me art wise. Thanks so much to a good friend in and out of the hobby for the opportunity.

This cover has so much going for it. It has one of my favorite hero teams with Excalibur, one of my favorite villains in Juggernaut, and a prime 90s Thor! Huge bonus, this cover is an homage to Uncanny X-Men #1!

In this issue, a spell is cast on Excalibur to make them think Thor is Juggernaut.

Love the combination of Sinnott inks over Frenz pencils!

There is white tape the overlay on the bottom, cover is not cut.

Yup, you pretty much checked all the same boxes as me.  It's Frenz, it's Sinnott, it's Excalibur, it's Juggernaut, and it's a great homage to a classic Marvel cover.  Nice to see all the trade dress, as much of the newer OA no longer includes that.

Whoa! The Excaliber AND Juggernaut issue! I loved the Frenz/Sinnott art on this title SO much when this came out. Together, they gave me a sense of what it may have been like to be buying and reading Marvel comics during the Silver Age, and the stories were really good, too. Still exciting to see it even after first seeing it hit the market in 2004! Kudos for pulling off the trade!

I think any Frenz cover is going to be a really nice add.  Great cast of characters on this one for sure!!!

Pretty neat using the Juggernaut image as the force field!  Frenz and Sinnott kept the old traditional Kirby look alive during an age of crosshatches and grittiness.

Excalibur attacking Thor?!?  Is it any wonder why the general public doesn't trust mutants?

Classic Thor look. Wait, what? Thor's teaming up with the Juggernaut? This surely must be running the confusion-between-heroes and fight-then-sort-it-out playbook? Great to see Captain Britain in there.

Awesome cover with a dramatic Excalibur cemeo, are they heroes or villans?  How can a reader reists, I certainly can't.  Congrats James on this tasty OAX pick-up!

Daaaaamn man!!! Silky Sinnott inks over Frenz, Excalibur, Thorggernaut, and an X-Men 1 homage!!?? So many things to like and enjoy about this one. Baller cover and that you acquired it via trade with another collector makes it even better. Huge congrats!
