Romano Scarpa - Donald Duck - 1953 - Paperino Agente Investigativo - p5

When Romano Scarpa applied for a job as a comic artist with the Italian Disney publisher Mondadori, he did so with 7 pencilled pages to a Donald Duck story called “Paperino Agente Investigativo”. He was hired, but the story was shelved at first, but later developed into the classic “Paperino e I Gamberi in Salmì” (1956) by Scarpa.
This is page 5 of these original 7 pages that started the career of one of the greatest Disney artists…very happy to add this to my collection.
