Art depicts Winnie Winkle, Perry Winkle and Rip Winkle from The Winnie Winkle subset, w/hand-lettered names below art and "Copr. 1946 Famous Artists Syn." hand-lettered text along top. Art remains clean and Exc. All three displays also includes separate 4.5x4.75" dia. sheet of onionskin paper w/pink/fleshtone colors which, when placed over the bw art, provides the colors for the finished button. Corners of this sheet are mounted w/small pieces of double-sided tape to acetate sheet that can be removed and placed over art. Paper has a few thin ripple lines, but this does not detract visually. Rip overlay in smaller and front mounted while other two are mounted on reverse. Unique and historic button art. All three include example of the pin in custom case for display.
