Artboard features pen and ink original art w/image within 3" and 3.75" dia. circles. Art depicts Little Moose, Little King and Spud. From Big Chief Wahoo, The Little King and Just Kids strips, w/hand-lettered names below art and "Copr. 1946 Famous Artists Syn." hand-lettered text along top. Art remains clean and Exc. Two include on reverse side separate 4.5x4.75" dia. sheet of onionskin paper w/pink/fleshtone colors which, when placed over the bw art, provides the colors for the finished button. Corners of these sheets are mounted w/small pieces of double-sided tape to acetate sheet that can be removed and placed over art. Paper has a few thin ripple lines, but this does not detract visually. Little King has color mounted to display front. Unique and historic button art.
