Joshua Cassara - X-force #4 p.7

This was an OAX 2026 pickup. I’ve been a fan of Joshua’s work for a while, and this page has a lot of great techniques on display. The inkwash represents the psychic images of the crime scene that Jean is projecting for Sage and Beast. There’s also a negative-space helicopter and rain effects created with white-out. I remember reading this page in the comic vividly but assumed most of these effects were added in color. Seeing them all executed directly in the ink makes the page even more impressive!
