Leela - Dave Stevens Homage

I asked Bill Morrison to do a commission for me, specifically, to create a piece as an homage to the work he once inked for Dave Stevens after Dave passed… but this time with Leela instead. After reading Bill’s story about finishing Dave’s unfinished drawing, I decided to approach Bill on the commission at the Tuscon Comic Con. What Bill did back then was no small thing, it was stepping into sacred territory and doing it with humility. He absolutely nailed that same spirit, and honestly, it turned out better than I could’ve hoped.
