All 3 OAXs I’ve decided to go outside of my normal nostalgic box.. and get a piece from an artist I don’t really know . Honestly I haven’t been disappointed yet.. This year I went with Jeremy Wilson.. repped by TD Art.. I noticed Jeremy on Instagram a little bit before hearing he would be at the show. He’s a painter.. who works in oils and I really liked his use of color and the way he pulls the colors from the character into building the backgrounds .. Kind of blending a normal comic figure into an abstract piece .. because I wanted that effect I went with Phoenix as the green and reds and yellows would allow him to get funky.. and he knocked it out of the park! The scan doesn’t do a great job capturing the colors.. much more vibrant in person!

Love it! I bet it looks absolutely killer in person (and half decent in a photo) compared to the scan but an awesome Phoenix piece regardless. I made sure to stop by Jeremy's booth and take a close look at the paintings he had on display there, he had some really impressibe looking stuff.
