This is my kinda page. Congrats!
Thanks! It's cool to encounter someone with similar tastes!
That a cellphone in sight, just a sentinel living in the moment!
A Sentinel? A SENTINEL?! How dare you, sir? That's the pinnacle of superior Kree technology you see before you! Not some base earthly construct mangled together by inferior terran brains! You besmirch my supervillain honor! I demand satisfaction!
Very cool page! Congratulations!
Thank you very much for the comment!
Great, 'lifeless' Sentry, and the size of that panel emphasises its great size and the way its appearance dominates the scene for the locals. The compositions below that of the panic caused by yet more unexpected events are perfect.
I do love art pages with large panels! With large art in them as well...obviously. Not just empty panels. That wouldn't be for me...
Great page!!
Yes, I love John Buscema's work and am lucky to get large art example of his.
Do androids dream of electric sheep?! :) Sweet page, BJH, congrats!
Thanks, K-Gear! They probably dream about the day they will eradicate all biological scum...
Yowza! I love John Buscema drawing the Avengers! Big John was just so talented. I mean, how do you beat that top splash panel--A 40-foot tall Kree-designed Sentry laying unconscious in the grass? John is one of the few artists who could draw that and make you believe it. And then he could add alien soldiers dropping down from the sky and townsfolk running away. John B. was truly one of the best ever. Great pick-up, congrats!
Yup, it was large top panel on the Kree sentry that convinced me that I had to have this page!
