VULCAN! STAR TREK PAPERBACK COVER

This vintage Bob Larkin painted cover art for Kathleen Sky's 1978 Star Trek novel is a wonderful image of Spock, perhaps the most popular character from the iconic series. The giant ants in this image are a classic motif (Them) and illustrator Bob Larkin has worked extensively both in Sci-Fi illustration and in comics, in particular the memorable painted covers for Marvels line of "Fireside" books. The art was executed with acrylic on board and has an image area of approximately 12" x 20".
