Justice League of America #1 was the very first comic book that I ever purchased. My great grandmother bought it for me at a convenience store just a few blocks from our house. I actually remember seeing it on the spinner rack, and I was fascinated by all of the different-looking characters on the cover as I had no idea who they were -- even Batman. The only one that I recognized was Superman and that was because I had been watching his adventures every afternoon on TV. So, I'm sure you can imagine how finally owning a page of art from the first comic book that I ever read makes me feel! Awesome! The Martian Manhunter and Batman attempt to save the planet Narx! This was only the fourth appearance of the JLA, as they had previously debuted in The Brave and the Bold #28-30. This page was produced at twice-up scale in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 13" x 19" (including the paste-up header banner). Lightly toned, with minor soiling. In Very Good condition.
