This published, original ink art for TRANSFORMERS REGENERATION ONE #88, page 19, and published in the US by IDW in 2013, is a tense, cinematic drama, as GRIMLOCK-- seeking to protect his fellow Dinobots-- is forced by SCORPONOK to shoot his Autobot comrade PUNCH! The camera spins around the scene menacingly, then zooms in on GRIMLOCK'S finger on the trigger of his gun-- like something out of a Tarantino movie!

IDW's TRANSFORMERS REGENERATION ONE continued Marvel's original TRANSFORMERS comic from the 1990s, and ran for over 20 issues between 2012 and 2014. The new series continued the issue-numbering of the original series, and featured the same writer/artist team of Furman, Wildman and Baskerville that had worked on the final issues of the Marvel 90's run.

PLEASE NOTE: The pencil art by Andrew Wildman was drawn on a separate sheet of paper and is not part of this sale. The ink art was hand-drawn by STEPHEN BASKERVILLE (that's me, folks!) over a 'blueline' printout of the pencils on 240gsm Bristol board. There may be slight discoloration/wear on the original artwork for sale, and some small patches of white paint where the artwork has been corrected-- but the overall condition is very good.
