Description
From the X crossover event around 2010, NECROSHA, comes this page from X-Men Legacy #231.

This page features Destiny (Irene Adler) who was recently brought back from the dead by Selene and Eli Bard. She is imprisoned on a revived Genosha (aka Necrosha) so she can inform Selene on the future she is trying to bring forth. Leon Matheson (a mutant who can influence rainfall) was also raised from the dead and Destiny begins her mind games which ultimately will set her free.

I am re-reading the NECROSHA storyline (X-over with New Mutants, X-Force and X-Men Legacy, along with a few one-shots) and it is a fun battle-filled tale that brings back so many dead mutants from all eras and previous titles and has them fighting various teams to empower Selene. Wong’s ink on Mann’s art is done beautifully and especially enjoy how they treat a very moody-lit Destiny coming into the light from her prison cell. The top panel also sets the scene for a high wide of Selena’s palace recently created amongst the ruins of Genosha, she wants to reclaim the life in Rome she was supposed to have.

Happy to add another page from this storyline, where we ultimately discover the connections between Blindfold, Destiny and Rogue. And an extra bonus to get another piece of Walden Wong’s art, since his art was the first artwork I got to start my collection (Astonishing X-Men #1 pg 2/3).

Nice page with great Wong inks over Mann! Definately getting Rome-like vibes in tthe top panel.
