John Amor posted this on Instagram, and I was hoping that this was mine. It was. I was reading the Sandman Mystery Theater Compendium Vol. 1 when CAF Live Mystery Sketches started. I am thrilled to have this in my collection.
John really did an incredible job with the technique on this 6X9. The background with the cross hatching is a nice touch. The mix of heavy black, grays, and whites make this art pop. The gas mask and gas gun are so nicely executed providing an homage to the character.

Amor continues to impress! There are some lovely techniques on display. His use of negative space provides perfect contrast to the dark tones. No mystery here, if this was a pog, it would be a slammer!

As with all his pieces, the layering and what John chooses is all more well thought out than a typical illustrator.
