Scarlet Witch (Wanda Djanjo Maximoff)

The first and only time I met Mr. Perez was his visit to the 2013 Niagara Falls Comic Con. He was so sweet, professional, and humorous! It was actually his birthday that weekend and still he made the trip all the way up here to Canada. The fans adored him! He was surprised with a cake by the fans and even got a kiss on the cheek by Marc Silvestri' s wife as Marc table was next to his. I told George that I always had a crush on the way he drew the Scarlet Witch with her tight curly hair. He chuckled and said, I think I can do that for you and boy, did he ever! I feel blessed to have the opportunity to meet this creator and sadden to hear of his passing in 2022. Thank you again Mr. Perez!
