Huge Arkham Asylum fan here. The graphic novel that transcended modern day Batman storytelling. Here’s page 36 by Dave Mckean. (DC, 1989) The Joker and Batman cross paths. A whirlwind of psychological depth and horrifying imagery.

It reminds me of pre-Robin Detective Comics. How Batman should be portrayed. Darker and nefarious. This page depicts the Joker’s manic dominance as Batman confronts his own moral limits. Large art, 14”x21.75”.

Excellent 9-panel grid painted McKean Arkham Asylum art with his standout Joker and silhouetted shadow of the Batman! This late 80s DC classic continues to grow in its importance and influence as the years go by. Congrats and thanks for sharing this
