Such a wonderful piece to celebrate Juneteenth! I'm still smarting at the fact that the holiday has been celebrated since a couple of years after the Civil War ended. Greene has a really nice animation inspired style. Reading your descriptions, as always, is as good as seeing the art!

My favorite exhibit at the 2025 OAX show was the complete Sanford Greene art for Bitter Root #1. This is a marvelously evocative piece that illustrates why the series, and Greene's art, are so good. 

Great variety in all of those demonic faces - with a bit of a mix of roleplaying fantasy art and Ghostbusters. And it's so interesting to see the greens and reds in the published cover, looking a bit like a '50s 3D comic page. Really vibrant. Another interesting pick-up!
