For OAX this year I only set up a couple pre-show commissions. One was a Nekrogoblikon horror comic style piece with Joe Dragunas, the other was with Gigzilla (J.P. Cuison). I gave J.P. the choice of three musical bands: The MiSfiTs, Ghost & Nekrogoblikon, with each band having several of my favorite songs to base the commission on. J.P. chose I Turned Into a Martian by my favorite band The MiSfiTs.
I was interested to see how this was going to turn out, and thought he would probably go with a collage style piece, however he surprised me with a more traditional style panel page that had a transformation. I love that the Martian also had a Devil Lock (a trademark MiSfiTs hairstyle) and of course the skull. Thanks J.P.
