Description

One of three splash images from the first issue of the Walking Dead. On this page, Rick, Morgan, and his son Duane have just looted Rick’s police depot for weapons and Rick’s Sheriff uniform. As they are about to go their separate ways(Rick to Atlanta and Morgan bunkers in the small town), a zombie with several severe bites approaches on the other side of the fence. Scared, Rick is about to shoot the zombie but Morgan tells Rick the the zombie is not a threat and he needs to save the bullet. This scene was adapted into the pilot episode of the show The Walking Dead. Big Thanks to Phil R for making the deal happen!

No qustion one of the best pages from the issue. You've got Rick in costume and a zombie!! Incredible page, happy it all worked out buddy!!

Congrats, what a page! I have an issue 1 splash, but yours is better!! Fantastic WD collection.

Thanks! I enjoy this page a lot! Which splash do you have? The Rick waking from the coma or the first Zombie splash? They are both super iconic.
