Gurren Lagann is a fantastic series, and the mecha designs only get more epic in scale as the series contines. I’m a huge anime fan, but when you add giant robots into the mix, it’s the perfect combination.

If you haven't checked out Hector’s work yet, I highly recommend it. His use of watercolors is unlike anything I’ve seen; he captures the weight and grit of these mechas perfectly. I’m hoping to add another piece from him soon, a Dancouga would be incredible! For now I have Gurren proudly hanging on my wall alongside the Sentinel Toys Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann!
