Description

Tomb of Terror was one of Harvey Comics' notorious pre-Code horror comics first released in 1952. It usually featured stories with skeletons, undead people, and other supernatural tales. The covers were usually pretty graphic!

The issues were released for a little over two years, after which the series was finally canceled due to low readership in part due to the enactment of the comics code authority. Horror Comics, including Tomb of Terror reached their zenith in the 1950's before being banned by the U.S. Congress due to their exceptionally gory and bloody content

"Backwash"

Dan Fergus wants to be left alone in his new house. Two beggars are found in the house and Dan kills them, but no matter what he does with the bodies, they return to haunt him.

Pencils by Al Avison.

The last page has Al's name and an address written on it but I am unable to confirm if it is his handwriting.

I included a couple of other pages from this same book (different stories and artists though) for reference. They all have the same handwriting at the top idemtifying the piece and the number 500 in the corner is the same.
