Daredevil #102 pg #10 Syd Shores & Frank Giacoia - Stiltman action page

Although he's a lame villain, he has always been very interesting from a visual perspective. I've always loved Stiltman appearances and you got yourself a nice one!

lame? hey now, stiltman has kicked some major butt

He's a nerdy scientist named Wilbur, who hated his job so he stole blueprints to some hi-tech invention that he then proceeded to build, all so he could commit robberies of high high-story buildings. You might need to think about that concept for a few minutes, Tom. Yes, that equates to a lame concept for a super-villain. But, and I know this is probably shocking to you, a character can be lame in concept yet still be fun and have a bit of a cult-like following. Yes, two things can be true at the same time! Btw, if you've paid any attention while watching my shows on Sundays, you'd remember I've mentioned on a couple of occasions that I love the character.

Is Stilt-Man wearing a mask under the helmet?  Now that's a bad guy who knows how to protect his secret identity.  Very cool page!

Plenty of DD fish in the sea but not many Sweet Stilt-Man pages, that's a unicorn! Love a good vertical 6-panel setup, and Giacoia's inking works nicely over Shores. awesome page, congrats!

Congratulations on a great Stiltman page! 

Not only is the artwork cool, but the dialogue is just fantastic and cracks me up.  Serioulsy, read the dialogue out loud, it's kinda like the old Adam West Batman tv show.  Maybe I'm just punchy today, but I chuckled at the Stiltman saying "Oh yes, I almost forgot... the parts from Japan have arrived..."!  Even Marvel villains are at the mercy of those Japanese manufacturers!!!

Really neat bargains with these villain pages!  It may be trendy after a while with the same level of attention the artists put on them and their stories being just as compelling.

One of the most unusual villans in the Daredevil series and your right,you never seem to see these pages ! Loved this villan back in the day of pulling books off the spinner rack and bringing them home to read !!!

Stiltman is cool. So simple and yet visually fun! Dr. Octopus but only 2 appendages instead of 4. Congrats!
