Beutifully drawn page of an abusive a-hole! We love the X-Men for the drama.
Well, this completes the trifecta of Neal Adams influenced artists. First you post a page by Sienkiewicz and McLeod. Now Richard Bennett. Who of course also got his start at Continuity. I used to have a really nice X-Men page of his with Rogue in it. It was cheap (back in the 90's) and it was a fun page but I eventually got rid of it because I was focused on covers and splashes. Kind of wish I had it now. Forgot that Moncuse inked this issue. I really wish Steve had done more mainstream work. He is so talented.
this is a killer page, the inks are so good, with all the fine details and shading going on, nice get
I'm here for the lingerie babes of the 90's! Her expressions could be interpreted as erotic and orgasmic. Another cool part of 90's X-Men comics where this quarterly book could get away with more than the main title.
Great Creed page
Like you, that very issue of X-Men unlimited was a big deal for me as a teen due to Bennett's art. Congrats.
Great page!
Beautiful page. Love the renders!
Lorette looks devine! ~ Congratulations!
Excellent page, that half splash image is gorgeous - really dig this combo of linework and inking.
Drama aplenty! Emotive top to bottom storytelling paired with some sweet '90s detail. Congrats!
"I want you out of my father's home, a.s.p.c.a," is that a misspelled acronym or intitialism, or is she referring to the animal charity? I'm confused.
Ha!! Yes, Lorette has mispronounced quite a few things in the pages prior, so it's a continuation of her quirkiness. And Graydon continues to tell her you are lucky you are pretty. Ha!
