These sissy kids today!  Back in MY day, we'd get our leg cutoff, pick it up, use it as a crutch, and keep on running!

Beautiful, classic Andru Flash!!  Love it.

Really nice with the juxtaposition of circumstances in storytelling.  Plus, Kubert drew feet.  Back then, without modern science, Flash may have never recovered to run again from a catastrophic injury.  It's a story theme that would be used again during the Lightle era of Flash.

How often is the Flash told he'll never run again? ~ Congratulations on this cool page!

Classic Andru expressions. The panic in the eyes in the second panel is perfect.

When I started collecting back issues of the Silver Age, this was one of the first comic books I added to my collection. What a great page! Honestly, I'm a bit jealous =)

Congrats Andrew!

Thanks - I have just started going back and re-reading these old issues. And realizing I have a few holes in my comic collection to hunt down.
