Description

Had the pleasure of meeting Shatoshi Shiki and his rep Hiroshi Harry Nishimura at C2E2 this year. Had never really read manga but as I strolled the Arist Alley isles, his art grabbed me. There is so much work on these pages, zipatone, white out, and just so much ink work. I really was drawn to them .  This is page 234 from his manga titled Riot, page 234.

I will have to pay more attention to manga when they come my way and look forward to seeing Satoshi again next C2E2.

Very dramatic and elegantly illustrated page!  I'll echo Thomas's comment about the chairs and I also really like the linework on the suit of the guy standing.  I have no idea what is going on in the story, but the excellent artwork would entice me to buy the book if it is available in English!

Love the suits! Really great work here. Not exactly X-Men adjacent, but who cares, right?

Awesome background detail and detail in the clothing. character wise this feels leaning more into modern Anime aesthetics which is fresh compared to older Manga (I have no clue how old this Manga is or isn't to be honest/fair though).
