Perez pencils and inks are grails in his prime. Rarely do they come up and if they aren't covers, even tougher to find.
Thanks Marcus. I'm really lucky it came around again.

That's awesome Paula. This is just what this site needs.
Congrats nick. This is George at his best handling multiple characters like only he can.
Thanks bud. It's surreal. I missed it so many times. I was able to do a good trade to get it.
A Very Memorable issue of Pure Perez Magic!
Thank you for the kind comment.
sweet page, great issue, well done getting this one nick
Thank you bud.
Love this page! Massive congratulations!!!
Thank you Brent.
Awesome pickup!
thanks brother!
Great page from a memorable issue!
Agreed.
One of the best all-time "hundredth" anniversary issues! This sequence by Pérez while at his peak is outstanding and up there with the best work he ever did, due to his decision to ink his own pencils Congrats, Nicky, it's incredible!
Thanks Ruben. Third time it came around. You barely get a piece a second time around, but a third time around. Wow. I'm really lucky.
Absoulutely love this issue! Major congrats!!
Thank you bud
I've no idea what you had to give up in trade to acquire this incredible page, but I can't imagine you did not come away from the deal with the most spectacular piece of art!
Every panel oozes Perez goodness, but man, the close-ups of the Joker in the first panel and Killer Croc in the final panel are fantastic! The horizontal panel with the group shot of the villains is a perfect example of Perez's talent for drawing multi-character scenes. Big CONGRATULATIONS on adding this gem to your stellar collection!
thank you sooooo much Jim. It was fair for all. I could not be happier. A page like this rarely comes raound, but I missed it the first time, and then a second time, and the third time, I had to do it. There was no way I was going to try my luck. Again, thank you.
Such a great seminal issue...congrats on getting a wonderful piece of history.
Thank you brother!
Fantastic page by a master from a memorable issue
Agreed, and thanks for the comment.
Congrats Nick! What a cool page and an amazing array of Batman's rogue gallery by one of the masters. Do we gauge our longevity as a fan by the villains we can name or those whose names we have forgotten?
It's definitely a factor my friend! But it's also true that creators can reinvigorate the villains to have more meaning to a new audience.
Just incredible! and it even has Catman before the Breyfogle upgraded costume.
Yep! It is a great page, and I'm really lucky.
What an incredible Perez page, with the full assortment of fun Bat baddies. Just perfection. Congrats
Thank you Ron!
Amazingly detailed page from the peak of George's career! What often gets lost among all the detailed rendering is how far George's storytelling had come at this point. He was able to not only fit in 11 panels, no small feat, but utilized a myriad of camera angles to perfection! The second to last panel stands out to me, as he chose to go with the diagonal angle to show the action with great clarity. The story moves so flawlessly with the decisions he made. Congrats on finally being able to acquire this beautiful example of George's work! I'm glad it found its home in your collection!
GREAT breakdown! And one small addition - in Detective #526 it was Joker and Croc at each other over Batman, so Croc pushing The Joker aside is pretty cool throwback.
Killer page by the master George Perez!
Agreed - with many killers!
George Perez in his prime doing George Perez things - fantastic!
Very well said, and obviously I agree ;-)
Great Perez Page ! Congrats Nick !
A key page from a key comic. Interesting how Killer Croc wants to break Batman's back on this page, a foreshadowing of what's to come. ~Congratulations on adding this to your collection!
Simply amazing! Few and far between do you see so many Batman foes togather at the same time. Perez masterpiece! Congrats Nick!
Oh my gosh, this is literally one of the best pages out there! Perez mid-eighties goodness, tons of villians and Batman! Such a great page, so glad they finally reprinted this in one of the Batman DC Finest Collections. This is a grail page for sure. Congrats!
Touchdown !
Perez magic everywhere! Love that horizontal panel in particular.
