Description

Growing up I was a huge NBA fan.. and further always loved basketball the game. As we get older we have less and less time and fhe NBA is one of the things I don't follow nearly as much as I used to. But I am a 76ers fan and watched them shock the world and drop the Celtics in a playoff series for the first time since 1982! So I figured this was a good time to post this prelim from the Jordan graphic novel- when I picked up the published piece from the book Wilfred was nice enough to include this pre-lim from a great page. In this Jordan is saying Give me the pain... and watching Embiid tonight battered and bruised.. it reminded me of this piece!

Fun piece! The 76ers did surprise everyone coming back in the series against the Celtics, which made poor Jiggy sad!!

As a fan of both the Knicks and the Cavs in the 1990s, Michael Jordan was evil incarnate.

Cool prelim to the published. Seeing MJ kick the Nets out of the playoffs (in the first round? I think...) at the old Continental Airlines Arena (I think? hah) back in the 90s is one of my core memories/highlights from back in the day (and watching the 90s MJ Bulls in general). I also don't follow the sport/NBA all too much anymore but ocasionally dip in around playoffs time.
