I like that background. It certainly evokes the beauty and romance of the moment that maybe only Negan sees.
Just re-read this issue recently. The dynamic between these characters, short-lived as it is, is one of my favorites in the series. Great page!
The fact that we got an intimidating thug Negan in his introduction in issue 100, all the way to the bottom panel here over 50 issues later is awesome. Breakout character development.
